If CSK has to go anywhere this season, MSD has to handle the local boys well. The TN team is the current 20-20 (Yes, we have a national 20-20 championship!!) and ODI champions and has a brilliant bunch of players. If MSD continues to treat them like he did in the past (e.g. preferring Parthiv, pushing Badri down the order), CSK has little hope.

robin has a point wen he suggests hussey over another all rounder though, they dont seem to contribute too much in the bowling dept except for albie(and he's not exactly lethal either)...so why not be a really strong batting team tat can also bowl...

Oram is not of great form greatly. I haven't seen or heard much about Perera. So little apprehensive of playing him ahead of Kemp.

I don't think Vijay TV is coming off with any shows as a build up to IPL. But haven't seen any Tamil Channels recently. So can't comment.

- Hussey may not join the squad before april. Can we use mukund as replacement till then?

yes all the friends were correct we should have bought R satish for his batting bowling and fielding performance in the ICL. Our bowling lacks pace and strength with flintoff not playing this year. Ntini can be of use but its upto the team management to pick him in the squad. Morkel and oram are definitely not going to of that much use. We may go with balaji, gony, tyagi and muralidharan. Except murali no one seems to be like an attacking bowler. As far as batsmen are concerned we have plenty of TN/Indian players apart from we have hayden and hussey. I wonder how the team management doesnt want to strengthen to maintain a good balance and to clinch the cup atleast this year. Let god be with csk.
